Nautilus official's long walks for water

11 May 2018

A Nautilus staff member is spending much of her spare time on long walks for charity along the Thames Path - a 184-mile route from the source in Gloucestershire to the Thames Barrier.

Head of strategy Debbie Cavaldoro will spend about 16 days throughout the year on the trail for WaterAid, discovering how it feels to have to walk many miles just for clean water, as well as fundraising for the charity.

Debbie said she chose the water charity to draw attention to what many take for granted in terms of access to clean water and sanitation.

'I am raising money for WaterAid as they are one of the few international charities working to provide clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to millions of people,’ she said. ‘It sounds normal, and it should be.'
